An ideal place for a day out. A beautiful picturesque swimming beach, very sheltered with flat calm water and good for snorkelling around the nearby rocks. No beach wheelchair available. However, there is a wide concrete boat ramp leading from a hard pathway into the water, so no need to negotiate sand to get to the waters edge. An accessible parking bay is nearby, although it is a rather cramped one! Several picnic tables surrounded by hard surfaces & two free electric BBQs with views of the beach. The Boathouse cafe nearby serves great food and coffee, with accessible indoor and outdoor seating, plus a little outdoor kiosk called 'Le Kiosk' for ice creams and snacks. Accessible toilets and shower available. All of this is within 20m maximum from the car park. There is also a wonderful stroll which starts here, along a hard wide pathway all the way to Manly beach, a few small slopes, about 3km. You can also see the sunset from here as it's west facing.
