Event Cinemas Hurstville is a very accommodating venue for accessibility needs. Located at the top level of the Westfield there is car parking, ramps, and lifts nearby the front entrance of the site. While the front entrance has stairs, there is a lift installed to the far right of these steps. To use the lift you just have to contact staff and a manager will be promptly present to activate it. There is also an additional lift further into the cinema on the concourse that is adjacent to the car park in the event that the main lift is unusable. 

There is a unisex accessible bathroom in the foyer on the right hand side at the entrance that is maintained by staff onsite. The foyer itself is very spacious, even in the cramped lineup towards the candy bar there should still be ample space for wheelchairs and other mobility devices. 

In the cinemas themselves at the back of each cinema there are spots that are reserved for wheelchairs and any other companions. The entrance to all normal cinemas is on even ground, these exclusive spaces at the top of each cinema next to the entrance. Each regular cinema has a ramp up the isle so if you’d prefer alternative seating to the usual accessible spaces they can also be accessed fairly easily as long as now equipment is blocking the isle. 
In the V-Max cinemas however due to there being stairs to access most of the cinema, these accessibility spaces are at the front of the cinema rather than at the back thus limiting view of the screen. 
Overall Event Cinemas Hurstville is a very accessible venue, with very accomodating staff if any standards are not met.

With a wonderful view and open frontage onto the beach this is a great place to hang out. Great food and coffee with a huge menu of breakfast and lunch choices. 
All flat access throughout and about 50% of the tables are outside. Mostly good space for manoeuvring between both indoor and outdoor tables. 
Plenty of parking (plus 2 accessible spaces) is in the carpark out the front of the cafe with direct access straight into the front from the carpark.
There’s an accessible toilet on site, a little cramped as there is a built in cupboard in the corner.

The Caffeine Garden is located on the rooftop of the Westfield in the rooftop dining area. From the rooftop parking near the lifts (access to the rest of the Westfield) heading towards the rooftop dining area there are two entrances. On the left there’s stairs and on the right is the ramp entrance. the ramp entrance leads you right to the cafe counter, and a little further down is the large outdoor seating arrangements. 

The seating here is very accessible for wheelchairs, however towards the back side of the cafe is still outdoor arrangements but very tight and not accessible.

Further down the main walkway is the bathrooms, both well maintained and also with enough utilities for easy use. 

The Caffeine Garden

Burger co. is a burger restaurant located on the Westfield rooftop amongst the other restaurants and cafes. From the parking area it is easy access to the rest of the Westfield via the lift, and with a ramp access over towards the rooftop dining. The ramp is further to the right of the main rooftop entrance with stairs, however it is still very direct and accessible.

Burger co. is located right next to where the public bathrooms on the rooftop are. The bathrooms are in good condition and has sufficient utilities. 

Burger co. itself has plenty of space with outdoor seating and indoor seating. The indoor seating is less accessible due to the high table and booths, however outdoors there are regular tables and good movement space available. The grass turf may hinder movement depending on equipment.

Thai Thae is located on the rooftop of the Westfields, amongst the other restaurants and cafes of the top level.

From the parking near the lift, giving access to the rest of the Westfield from the rooftop there are two entrances. To the right there is the ramp and to the left there is access with some stairs. Even though the stairs access is the most direct way, the ramp is still very direct and only a minor detour.

Thai Thae is located right next to the public toilets that are on the rooftop, its condition is good with lots of space and utilities  inside.

Thai Thae itself has lots of space, particularly outdoors it’s seating arrangements are very gracious and accommodating for wheelchair and pram usage.

x2 accessible car park spaces in this public carpark next to Kiss the Barista cafe and the beach. Direct access (no kerbs) onto the paved carpark surface and into the cafe/onto the nearby bike paths beside the beach. 

On-street accessible parking

Rockdale Station is accessible for wheelchair users, with lift access and nearby disabled parking in the commuter car park on Geeves Lane as well as street parking on Railway Street. Buses such as the 422, 476, 477, 478, 479 and 492 stop close to the station, mainly along Railway Street, Geeves Avenue and Princes Highway, making it easy to reach by public transport. The surrounding streets are flat and well-connected, allowing smooth access from parking or bus stops directly to the station entrance.

Lilong is a Chinese restaurant located on the Hurstville Westfields rooftop, the first restaurant along the accessibility ramp coming up from the car park and lifts.

While it has a tight design, there is enough room for wheelchair access, provided it isn’t a bulky machine. It has a mix of outdoor space and indoor space. The section that is outdoors is a long corridor that may he cramped for a wheelchair however inside there is moderately more space along bigger table arrangements.

The nearest bathrooms are the public ones attached to the rooftop section of the Westfield, located further down the dining areas near the Thai and burger restaurants.
