    Rainbow Beach

Bonny Hills is home to the surf club, a park, picnic area, and two caravan parks. Rainbow Beach is patrolled during school holidays from October through April. Bonny's Beach Café, located above the surf club, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The beach is accessed via Ocean Drive, taking the exit onto Beach Street.

Dogs must be kept on a leash in front of the surf club, though they're permitted to run freely once past the river. Trees line the beach, providing shade during the warmer months.

Accessible parking is available directly out the front of the surf club. While the beach is accessible, entry is via a steep ramp, which some visitors may find difficult to climb back up.

Port Macquarie Hastings Council also provides free Sandcruiser beach wheelchairs for hire at this location, though these are only available during patrol times and in favourable conditions.

Own Risk:   Council is not responsible for any incidents.

Weight Limit:   Max recommended weight is 120kg.

ID & Waiver:   Bring photo ID and sign a waiver at pickup.

Toilets are located off the carpark, with a connecting path leading to both the carpark and an adjacent playground. Facilities include ambulant toilets as well as a right-hand transfer accessible toilet, a shower, and a water fountain. The playground features four swings (including a baby swing), a double slide, a large rope climbing structure, a sand pit, and an outdoor gym area.

Picnic and BBQ areas are separated by grass and offer shade. Some picnic tables sit on concrete slabs that are raised higher than the surrounde area.
