Lake Cathie Beach is a coastal destination offering sandy beaches, ocean views and surrounding natural scenery.
A paved parking area is located near the beach, with pedestrian access routes leading towards the shoreline. The photographs show a combination of paved, gravel, grassy and sandy surfaces.
The beach access track has uneven ground, loose gravel and sandy sections, which may make access difficult for wheelchair users or people with limited mobility. Some sections also appear to slope towards the beach.
The entrance to the beach includes wooden bollards and metal railings. The final approach to the shoreline is sandy, and there is no continuous firm, level pathway visible in the photographs.
Visitors using wheelchairs or mobility aids should be aware that the uneven terrain may present accessibility challenges. Designated accessible parking, beach wheelchair availability and other accessibility facilities have not been confirmed from the photographs.
The wheelchair-friendly fishing platform at Lake Cathie features handrails and a low guardrail for easy casting, located on the southern side of the Lake Cathie Foreshore, near the Aqua Crescent car park.
