North Haven Beach

North Haven Beach offers an accessible toilet at the North Haven Surf Club, along with close accessible parking. A grassed area with two picnic tables sits close by, offering a comfortable rest spot with easy access to facilities.

Port Macquarie Hastings Council also provides free Sandcruiser beach wheelchairs for hire, giving beach access to people with mobility limitations - though these are only available during patrol times and in favourable conditions. As beach wheelchair availability depends on patrol times and conditions, it's best to confirm ahead with Port Macquarie Hastings Council before visiting outside patrolled hours. It is recommended a minimum of 2 support persons/carers to assist with the wheelchair.

Pick Up & Return:   Collect and return at the Lifeguard office at the beach.

Booking Time:   Max hire is 2 hours (longer may be possible in special cases).

Patrol times: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Patrol days: Monday - Friday; weekends and public holidays by volunteers

The beach is dog-friendly.

However, North Haven is an open, exposed beach with limited protection from wind and swell, and sand banks can change daily, caution is advised for all swimmers, including experienced ones
