Tyrell Park

Tyrell Park (previously known as Frome Street Reserve) is a simple, open green space located in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The park consists of a wide, well-maintained grass lawn shaded by several mature eucalyptus trees — a relaxed setting suited for informal recreation and quiet enjoyment. A seating area is available within the park, offering visitors a place to rest.

Access & Mobility

Tyrell Park presents significant accessibility challenges for people with mobility needs. The park has no concrete pathway or paved surface of any kind — the entire park ground is grassed, which may be difficult to navigate for wheelchair users or those using mobility aids, particularly after rain.

There is no visible park name signage to help visitors identify the park's location or entrances. The park's two entrances both have physical barriers: the Frome Street entrance is blocked by low wooden log barriers, while the Tyrell Crescent entrance has a metal gate that was observed to be locked. These barriers would likely prevent or significantly hinder access for wheelchair users, pram users, and people using mobility aids.

There is no accessible parking at Tyrell Park. Street parking is available on Frome Street and Tyrell Crescent. There are no accessible toilet facilities on site.
