The Lionel Watts Reserve Playground is a securely enclosed inclusive playspace which provides facilities for children of all abilities and their carers.

These include main entry with disabled parking adjacent, amenities including accessible family toilets, BBQ’s, picnic settings and shelters located within close proximity to the playground.  Landscaped areas enhance nature play with pathways through the plantings, musical instrument section, cubby house.  There is a huge play structure, flying foxes, swinging & climbing elements, wooden trunks & beams for balancing, imaginative & passive activities using water play and public art, exercise equipment  Paved level accessible pathways  are throughout the playground with large shaded bench & grass areas.  

There is skate park across the playing fields  & the park is close to Glenrose Shopping Centre & to the Glen Street Theatre & Library. 

Parking can be found beside the showground, first on the right after the Pringle Avenue roundabout. The other car park is larger and runs along the playing fields paralell to Blackbutts Road. 

Lionel Watts Reserve

Five neighbourhood play spaces in Belrose have been transformed into one big, vibrant and inclusive sensory play network that all children can enjoy.

Each location takes inspiration from one of the five senses (sight, sound, touch, smell, movement) and has a character mascot to match. They are all focused on sensory play and are innovative in design.

Maple playground's mascot is a fox and takes inspiration from smell.

There is a swing set at the playground on a bark flooring surrounded by grass, wooden box seating & rope hanging play equipment.

Regular street parking only with accessible toilets 500m away at Glenrose Village Shopping Centre.

There is a paved level pathway leading to the chameleon play area with grass inbetween the slide with bark flooring & swing set.

Windrush Reserve

A small playground can be found at Aranda Drive Reserve, Frenchs Forest.

Providing a play space that complies of a swingset, including two standard seats & a high backed toddler seat & boat springer.  There is a timber & sandstone edge around the playground with combination of mulch & rubber soft fall with grassed surround & no lead in pathway.  There is also a bench, only regular parking & accessible toilet just under 1km away at Glenrose Village Shopping Centre.

Aranda Drive Reserve

Pusan Reserve is one of the five neighbourhood play spaces in Belrose that have been transformed into one big, vibrant and inclusive sensory play network that all children can enjoy.

Pusan playground's mascot is a koala & takes inspiration from touch.

The park is accessed via a paved pathway with play equipment including swings, seesaw & colourful blocks.

Accessible toilets can be found 500m away at Caltex Belrose, Lionel Watts Sports Building & Playspace.

 Regular street parking is only available.
