Accessible Playground In Overport RoadOverport Park Playground

    Overton Park has a large popular playground, two sporting areas & a bushland area on the eastern side of the reserve which can be accessed by a walking trail & bridge over Sweetwater Creek to St Ives Avenue.

    The fully fenced playground has a large rock climbing wall leading up to a climbing structure with wobbly bridge, a double wave slide, another large separate slide & a fireman pole. There are also swings, a dinosaur & bumblebee rocking horse, a tractor & another small climbing structure with a slide and shop front.

    There’s a few picnic tables to sit at inside the fenced playground, but there is also huge open space under the shade of the trees outside the playground.

    Overton Park also features grassed & paved sports areas, accessible paved walking tracks, park benches dotted about, rotunda, shaded areas, dog off-leash area, Baden Cricket Club, a canteen during games, native birdland & bushland, public toilets & accessible parking spots. Accessible toilets can be found just under 3km away at John H Butler Reserve on Ranelagh Drive.
