Half Moon Bay is a broad crescent-shaped cove with a protected sandy beach located in the suburb of Black Rock on Port Phillip. 

Half Moon Bay has Mobi-Mat beach matting, wheelchair parking & Mobi-Chair available at the Surf Club during patrols. There are three accessible bathrooms at the side of the surf club up the ramp & BYO hoist. 

Footpaths are flat & easy to navigate with accessible parks in the car park down by the beach. Cerberus Beach House Café is nearby with outside seating available. Accessible parking, restrooms and access are available from the day use lot at Francis Beach off Kelly Ave. 

The Dunes Beach day use area has van accessible parking and restrooms. Route to the restrooms is accessible. The Francis Beach day use area has accessible parking, restrooms, and a beach wheelchair.

Half Moon Bay Beach

Overton Park has a large popular playground, two sporting areas & a bushland area on the eastern side of the reserve which can be accessed by a walking trail & bridge over Sweetwater Creek to St Ives Avenue.

The fully fenced playground has a large rock climbing wall leading up to a climbing structure with wobbly bridge, a double wave slide, another large separate slide & a fireman pole. There are also swings, a dinosaur & bumblebee rocking horse, a tractor & another small climbing structure with a slide and shop front.

There’s a few picnic tables to sit at inside the fenced playground, but there is also huge open space under the shade of the trees outside the playground.  

Overton Park also features grassed & paved sports areas, accessible paved walking tracks, park benches dotted about, rotunda, shaded areas, dog off-leash area, Baden Cricket Club, a canteen during games, native birdland & bushland, public toilets & accessible parking spots. Accessible toilets can be found just under 3km away at John H Butler Reserve on Ranelagh Drive.

Overport Park Playground

Set behind the Mornington Steam Railway is the Mount Eliza Regional Park, a lovely wide open space with a small playground.

The playground features a train carriage, balance beam, swings, climbing equipment, slides & fireman pole.  

There's a BBQ, couple of picnic tables & an off-leash dog area, free parking, a small lake-walking track & enormous lake.  There are various walking tracks but they are not suitable for prams & wheelchairs.  

Accessible toilets can be found at Mount Eliza Regional Park 1 on Moorooduc Highway.  Free parking is avaialble.
