Cook Park

Cook Park is an open green reserve located in the Fairfield area. Set at the end of Cook Avenue in a quiet residential neighbourhood, the park is a large, open grassland bordered by mature gum trees and bushland.

Access & Mobility

Cook Park offers limited facilities for visitors. There is no dedicated accessible parking; street parking is available on the surrounding roads, including along Cook Avenue. Vehicle access into the reserve is closed off by a gate and a row of timber bollards at the edge, so the park is entered on foot across grassed ground.

The reserve is largely covered by grass, with no internal paved pathways, and the ground can become uneven or soft underfoot, particularly in wet weather. Because of this, the park may be difficult to navigate for wheelchair users, people using mobility aids, or anyone with accessibility needs.

There is no park signage identifying the reserve or its facilities. There are no toilet or accessible toilet facilities at the park.
