♿ Accessibility at Bankstown Station
Bankstown Station is a fully staffed and accessible station, designed to support passengers of all mobility levels. It is currently being upgraded as part of the Sydney Metro project to further enhance accessibility.
🛗 Access to Platforms and Streets
- 1 accessible lift provides step-free access from the concourse to all train platforms.
Ramps from the concourse lead to both sides of the street:
- North Terrace: Direct access to Bankstown Central Shopping Centre.
- South Terrace: Leads to Bankstown Bus Interchange and Bankstown City Plaza.
All access paths are wide and level, suitable for wheelchairs and mobility aids.
🎫 Ticket Gates
Wide and accessible ticket gates are installed at station entrances, allowing easy passage for wheelchairs, prams, and mobility devices.
🛤️ Platform Access & Boarding Assistance
- Platform-to-train access is supported by portable boarding ramps, available upon request.
- Speak with staff for assistance—they can also coordinate help at your destination station.

- There are no street parking spots directly outside the station.
- The nearest public parking is at West Terrace Public Parking, located approximately 400 meters away.
