Collaroy Beach is a surf beach that adjoins Narrabeen Beach forming a long stretch of coast. The ocean rock pool at the southern end of the beach has ramp access into the pool. A beach wheelchair & submersible wheelchair for hire from the Lifeguards who are on duty from 9 am till 5 pm between October and April, and until 6 pm between December and February. You can find them at the north-east corner of the Collaroy Surf Club building. Call them on 9982 9261. Unisex accessible toilet / baby change room located at the surf club amenities. Additional MLAK unisex accessible toilet and change room with an adult size change table and a ceiling hoist available at the beach side of the surf club (near the Swim Club). There are 2 mobility parking spaces are located at the southern end of the car park. Extra mobility parking spaces are located near the playground, entry from Birdwood Avenue (one-way driveway). There is an inclusive playground located at the southern end of the reserve which includes Liberty Swing for wheelchair users (use an MLAK key), an accessible carousel, spinner, 6-seater rocker, dome climbing net structure, interconnected timber decks, slides, sensory elements - carved sandstone structures and musical elements & interactive water play. Your own MLAK key can open the Liberty Swing and the accessible toilet at any time, or you can borrow one from the lifeguard.

Collaroy Beach

Collaroy Beach is a surf beach that adjoins Narrabeen Beach forming a long stretch of coast. It also forms part of an accessibility precinct that includes an all-abilities playground and access to a FreeWheeler beach wheelchair which provides wheelchair access onto the sand and the surf. 
Due to the long and open stretch of coast at Collaroy-Narrabeen, there can be erosion, especially during storm events. 
Collaroy Beach has a fully accessible beach reserve with disabled toilets, accessible picnic areas, rockpool and paths. There are two FreeWheeler beach wheelchairs available to use here, and a Liberty Swing. Wheelchair users and other people with a disability will be able to better enjoy Collaroy Beach due to a newly installed state-of-the-art adult lift and change facilities which includes an adult change table and hoist. The bathroom facility has a height adjustable shower head with flip-down shower seat as well as grab rails throughout. Please note, you need to have your own sling to use with the hoist. When the beach is patrolled the life guards will get the chairs for you but outside of hours you can arrange to loan the chair through Warringah Council by phoning 9942 2560.
Collaroy also provides an ocean pool with ramp access.  There is a pool wheelchair which can be borrowed from the life guards at the beach. The council carpark adjacent to the beach and playground has eight disabled parking spaces. 

Seaside Eatery is a semi accessible Italian restaurant situated on Pittwater Road, Narrabeen just moments from Narrabeen Beach.

The venue offers paved level pathway approach to glass door which does have a small step to navigate on entry. Inside is bright & spacious decorated in a coastal vibe with wall murials, large windows, freestanding tables & chairs.

Accessible toilets & parking can be found at Narrabeen Beach & Life Saving Club.

Seaside Eatery

Periyar is accessible. Directly outside the venue is a step leading to the entrance, but a few yards further down Pittwater Road a ramp outside IGA that provides step-free access to Periyar. Space between tables is tight inside the restaurant. Outdoor tables are available for customers.
There is no accessible toilet on site but parking spots can be found near IGA.

The playground is fully enclosed by a solid wall & has a castle theme with fort climbing tower, twirly & toddler slide. Berry Reserve Playground

Berry Reserve forms a corridor of public open space along Narrabeen Lagoon foreshore from The Esplanade to Loftus Street, Narrabeen and forms part of the Narrabeen Multi-use Track for Rolling, walking & cycling. The lakeside setting provides opportunities for a range of fun activities including boating,  fishing & kayaking.  There is also a market day on the third Sunday of every month.

There are picnic areas, barbecues and toilets along the way.

Carpark access is from Pittwater Road and provides 3-hour parking Monday-Friday and 2-hour Saturdays plus some all day commuter parking.
