Nelson Park

The Nelson Park is a well-appointed neighbourhood park managed by Fairfield Council in Western Sydney, offering a welcoming green space for the local community.

The park features a modern children's playground, open lawns shaded by mature trees, and a sandstone seating area — making it a lively and enjoyable destination for visitors of all ages. Park signage is located on Nelson Street.

Nelson Park can be accessed via an accessible ramp from the pedestrian footpath on Nelson Street, which provides a suitable entry for everyone.

However, access varies across the different entrances. One entrance features a brick paver pathway with bollards, which is relatively even but may have some minor surface variation. Another entrance uses irregularly shaped stepping stones set into a sand and gravel surface, also with bollards — this surface is notably uneven and may be difficult or impassable for wheelchair users, pram users, or those using walking aids.

There is no accessible parking at Nelson Park. Street parking is available along Nelson Street. There are no accessible toilet facilities on site.
