Fishermans Beach is a 500-metre beach located between Collaroy Point and Long Reef Point, offering a scenic coastal setting surrounded by rocks and a wide rock platform. A ramp in the middle of the beach provides step-free access onto the sand. However, the ramp is primarily intended for launching boats and is not specifically designed for wheelchair access, so extra care is required. The sand is mainly soft and crumbly, with a moderate gradient, which may make moving across it challenging for wheelchair users.
Beach wheelchairs are available to book at nearby Collaroy Beach through Northern Beaches Council. Availability and suitability for use at Fishermans Beach should be confirmed before visiting
Accessible toilets, showers and changing facilities are located at the southern end of the beach. A café, picnic tables and paid parking are also available.
Accessible Parking: Accessible parking spaces are available in the car park at the beach entrance, behind the Long Reef Golf Club Café. Parking restrictions apply from 7 am to 7 pm, with a maximum stay of 12 hours.
