Fairfield Heights Park

Fairfield Heights Park is a well-equipped community park managed by Fairfield City Council, located in the heart of Fairfield Heights. The park features a modern playground, open lawns shaded by mature trees, covered picnic shelters, and a water station — making it a popular destination for families and locals.

The Station Street entrance has a small lip at the entry point measuring less than approximately 2.5 cm in height. While not completely level, it presents a minor threshold.

Getting There

The park is accessible by public transport. A bus stop is located on Camden Street, served by routes 800 (to Blacktown) and 817 (to Cabramatta), making the park reachable without a car. There is no accessible parking at the park; street parking is available on Station Street.

Access & Mobility

The park is well-suited for visitors with mobility needs in several respects. A concrete pathway runs throughout most of the park, providing a smooth and stable surface for wheelchair users and people using mobility aids. Clear park signage is located at the entrance on Station Street, making the park easy to identify.

The playground area features a rubber softfall surface in the centre, which offers more stable ground than grass or wood chips near the play equipment. Multiple covered seating areas with picnic tables are available throughout the park and are accessible via the concrete pathway.

A unisex accessible toilet is located near the Camden Street side of the park. The facility is spacious, does not require a key to enter, and has an automatic door, making it easy to access independently. However, it was observed to not be in a very clean condition at the time of visiting.

A drinking water station is also available near the Camden Street end of the park.
