Coogee Beach is located half an hour from Perth & just a few minutes south of Fremantle & overlooks Cockburn Souns with views of Garden Island, Carnac Island & Rottnest Island.
A sweeping stretch of sand with almost 4 kilometres of stunning, turquoise-fringed coastline Coogee Beach is a great playground for families & outdoor enthusiasts with walking trails, snorkelling & diving routes desgined for aquatic adventures.
Coogee Beach is patrolled by Coogee Beach Life Saving Club & offers accessible beach matting & the Beach Trekker Wheelchair for hire free of charge. The surf club is accessible & features a restaurant, bar & accessible parking.
The beach offers a jetty, two waterslide poontoons, protected swimming area, cafe, playground & picnic area. The beach is only a short walk from the car park & well protected by surrounding reef so generally calm with small waves. There are showers at the main jetty enterance & several other showers at various beach entry points. There is a grassy reserve with plenty of picnic shelters all the way along with good access to BBQs & toilets.
A shaded playground is located close to the main beach enterance, close to the Coogee Beach Cafe which offers indoor & outdoor dining.
Accessible toilets can be found at Coogee Beach, Port Coogee & the Community Centre.
