The Bicentenial Park in Chelsea caters for all ages & abilities with accessible pathways, accessible parking, toilets & Changing Places Facility.
The centrepiece of the park is the huge fenced adventure playground, which comprises of two long slides, a Smurf village with a music hut, a story hut & a play hut complete with a mooing cow. Sculptural garden, a shaded sand pit, a giant basket swing, hammock, the Mount Chelsea Express train, huge green grasshopper, stand-on spinners, spiral slide, rope climbing frame, stepping stones, chain traverse, tic-tac-toe, monkey bars, flying fox, a wooden structure with various ladders, poles, slides & a Liberty Swing for accessed with a MLAK key.
The park features numerous shelters, BBQs, picnic tables, seats, water taps, drinking fountains, outdoor gym equipment, baby changing station
There is also a skate park with small ramps perfect for scooters and bikes & large ramps for the more experienced skaters. Next to that is a basketball & netball court, bike trails & stands, bowling green, rebound wall, soccer goals, oval, pump track, rebound wall, dog off-leash area, natural shade & wheelchair friendly.
There are kilometres of walking trails connecting up to the Edithvale-Seaford Wetlands Trail & the Longbeach Trail, a fitness track which is home to the local Park Run and a Disc Golf course.
