Barbara Park

Barbara Park (signposted as Barbara Street Children's Playground) is a compact, well-shaded neighbourhood playground managed by Fairfield City Council. Located on the corner of Barbara Street and Nelson Street, the park features a colourful children's playground set among mature trees, with seating areas tucked beneath the shade.

Access & Mobility

Barbara Park is easy to access for people with mobility needs. The park is covered by a combination of rubber softfall surface and concrete pathways, providing smooth, stable ground throughout. It can be entered via the pedestrian footpaths on both Barbara Street and Nelson Street.

Park signage is clearly visible on Barbara Street, at the corner of the Barbara Street and Nelson Street intersection. Seating is available within the park, positioned under the trees and reachable via the paved surfaces.

There is no accessible parking on site — street parking is available on the surrounding roads. There are no accessible toilet facilities at the park.
