Avery Park

Avery Park is a large sporting reserve managed by Fairfield City Council. The park features an expansive sports field, a children's playground, shaded picnic and seating areas, and an amenities building with home and visitor change rooms and a service counter.

Access & Mobility

Avery Park is easy to move around for people with mobility needs. The park is served by flat, sealed concrete pathways throughout, which connect the entrance, seating areas, playground and amenities building, providing a smooth and stable surface. There is no dedicated accessible parking; street parking is available on the surrounding roads.

The amenities building has a service counter (canteen) at a moderate height, though there is no separate accessible (lowered) counter provided. The building includes change rooms and toilets; however, the park does not have clear signage indicating whether an accessible toilet is available.

Note: at the time of the visit, there were no staff on site and most facilities — including the toilets — were locked, so they could not be accessed or inspected.
