Entry and layout
Atari Japanese Cuisine is not wheelchair accessible due to a high step at the entrance and a cramped internal layout. The entrance door is manual and opens inwards. There is no ramp and no alternate step-free entrance.
Inside, the space is very limited, with tight spacing between tables, narrow aisles, and tight corners, making wheelchair movement difficult. Seating/tables are not easily adjustable to create additional space.
Outdoor seating
There is no outdoor seating available.
Toilets
There are no toilets onsite, including no accessible toilet. The closest toilets are in Wollongong Central mall, approximately a 2-minute walk away. The mall includes male and female toilets, as well as an accessible toilet.
Parking and kerb access
Parking is available across the road, however there is no kerb dip for step-free crossing from that side, which may be a barrier for wheelchair users.
Staff support
Staff are willing to assist customers if needed, however the high step and cramped internal layout remain significant access barriers.
