iFLY replicates the feeling of skydiving, without having to leave mother Earth

Your instructor will cover flying basics during an orientation session in a group setting with fellow flyers, and then once you've been briefed, you'll receive your flight gear. After you've got your flight suit and helmet on, you'll be ready to go!

Your instructor will show you to the tunnel and soon you'll be flying right by their side. They'll provide personal instruction and demonstrate the skills you'll learn.

We believe that regardless of physical challenges, everyone should be given the opportunity to spread their wings. Anyone who comes to fly at iFLY and expresses a desire for assistance will be helped by specially trained flight instructors and will be afforded proper accommodations based on specific challenges.

We can all choose to fly, and regardless of your level of mobility, you can fly anytime 364 days of the year (we are closed on Christmas day).

Our All Abilities Events

To coincide with International Day of People with Disability, On December 3rd every year, 50 people with disability are given training free of charge into how to fly with us.

Special discounted All Abilities Evenings are also throughout the year. Anyone living with a disability is welcome to book into these sessions. Our team will be in touch to discuss your access requirements.

A comprehensive training session

2 indoor skydiving flights for 1 person

Flight suit, helmet, ear plugs and safety goggle hire

One on one assistance from an instructor as you fly

Souvenir flight certificate

Price

Our rates vary depending on the package you opt for (how many flights and at what time of day), and the location (because prices differ in each area). Typically, the one flight taster experience (including souvenir photos) will cost - $79.95 off peak and $99.95 at anytime.

FAQs

Can children take part?

We can fly anyone aged 3 to 103 providing you are in a state of reasonable health and fitness, and can fit into one of our flight suits and helmets.

Does an adult have to accompany flyers under 18yrs?

Flyers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (over 18 yrs of age) on the day of flight. The parent / guardian will be required to provide a signature for their waiver as well as attend the classroom briefing. If you are bringing a group / party, the organiser can sign on behalf of multiple participants as a guardian.

I have a disability, can I fly?

We have quite a number of regular customers who are disabled and we will do our very best to fly anyone with a disability. This is almost always possible where the disability is physical. Owing to the extra attention normally required we ask that you contact us first so we can discuss your requirements and choose a suitable package. Whilst we cannot guarantee you will fly, we can guarantee that we will try our best to help you fly.

Are there any health restrictions?

Anyone in a state of reasonable health & fitness from 3 to 103 can fly.

We do ask that you check the list of criteria below before booking. If you are concerned about any of the criteria, just contact us for a chat, we'll do everything we can to help you fly.

Is there parking on site?

We have free and accessible parking available on site at iFLY Brisbane, iFLY Melbourne, iFLY Perth and iFLY Sydney. iFLY Gold Coast has all day parking available for $5 at Bruce Bishop Carpark.

What do I need to bring with me on the day?

Firstly, we ask that every flyer completes a waiver before arrival which can be done online here. It is particularly important that you take note of the information regarding previously dislocated shoulders.

Please arrive at iFLY comfortably dressed (avoid collars and hoods) and bring a pair of well fitting lace-up trainers. We find that jeans, t-shirt and a pair of skate/running shoes are ideal. If you don't have a pair of lace-up trainers, don't worry, we do have appropriate footwear for hire.

Is it difficult to breathe in the wind tunnel?

No, it’s just like breathing normally actually…..so there is no specialist breathing equipment required. Just relax and breathing will come naturally.
