Accessible Beach In Beach Access 3Woorim Beach
Woorim Beach is located on Bribie Island, 75kms north of Brisbane. The beach has 30 metre of Mobi-Mat beach matting installed at the main beach entrance (Access Point 12), just north of the Bribie Island Surf Lifesaving Club. This provides a path down to the soft sand. Wide footpaths with steady gradients with a smooth transition from concrete path to the Mobi-Mat path.
Two beach wheelchairs are available for free hire through the Bribie Island Surf Lifesaving Club on weekends and public holidays. These are the Mobi-Chair floating beach wheelchair & SandCruiser beach wheelchair. An accessible bathroom can be found at the surf club with a flip down shower chair and toilet with a grab bar. There is also a large public bathroom block in Bluey Piva Park with an outdoor shower and an accessible bathroom. There are pleny of tables and chairs around for eating & relaxing, lots of shaded areas, pubic BBQ & wheelchair accessible water fountain with wheelchair under cut out. There are wide footpaths around the surf club, limited curb cuts in drop off areas. Accessible car parking approx. 20m from the surf club
