There is no designated accessible bedroom which are standard size, same for bathroom with no roll-in shower.

The Hamptons Apartments - Port Melbourne Apartment Hotel

The Clare Castle Hotel is a semi-accessible gastropub with small step at entry but they do have a portable ramp if needed.  Regarding as Port Melbourne's Finest Pub Restaurant serving great pub classics, steaks, pastas, seafood & home of the Moreton Bay Bug.

The bar area has high stools & tables, the restaurant area tables & chairs, the lounge area sofas, tables & chairs, all moveable.  

No disabled toilet onsite but one can be found at Port Melbourne 101 Beach Street, Port Melbourne Beach & Town Hall.  Accessible parking can be found at Coles on Liardet Street, along with car parks on Bay Street & Beach Street.

This park is not current accessible due to Todd road closure. There is currently no way to reach the car park for the park. Please wait until Todd road closure is no longer imposed.


Westgate Park Wetlands

Maritime Cove Community Park is a large marine-themed playground situated beside Port Melbourne's bay with views of Webb Dock.

The playground features old marine equipment such as old bright-yellow steel buoys, a life-saving tower as the centrepiece, crows nest, channel markers, bollards, old rail lines,  ladder bridge & replica shipping containers. There is a tall wooden fort, long spiral slide, rope bridges, climbing ropes & rope climbing frame.  

There are spinners, musical instruments, sand & two water play areas.  The playground is mostly on sand so accessibility can be a challenge.  

Just next to the playground is a group of outdoor fitness equipment plus an extensive boardwalk for running/walking/riding & of course Sandridge Beach where regular toilets can be located.  There are drinking fountains, seating, BBQs, garden beds, beach showers & free car parking.  Raised timber boardwalk links to the beach & trails leading to an observation platform.  

Accessible toilets can be found 2km away at Burgoyne Reserve.

Burger Hotspot is a semi inaccessible venue with  no ramp or wheelchair friendly access. There is a  step at the entrance, however there are tables outside. No disabled parking nearby but can be found at Coles Port Melbourne & Ace Car park on Bay Street.  Toilets can be found at JL Murphy Reserve.

The Substation is an accessible unique large-scale multi-purpose gallery, performance space and dance studio for artists of every kind.  There is a large ramp at front of premises and disabled parking directly at front of building. Inside there is a lift to the second floor.  Accessible toilets can be ound at Newport Station, Newport Hub & Mason Street Median Strip.

Accessible parking can be found at Beach Street & Bay Street, toilets can be found at Port Melbourne Beach.

Westgate Park

Williamstown Beach is a picturesque wide sandy cove with views over Port Phillip Bay. It's the closest accessible beach to Melbourne CBD. 

There is beach matting available 24 x 7 during operating season which reaches all the way to the shoreline. During the summer months, Mobi-Chair floating wheelchair or Davinci wheelchair are available for free hire, booking required. Book via Hobsons Bay City Council on 300 179 944 (8am-5pm weekdays) or email socialplanning@hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au. 

Accessible bathrooms can be found at Williamstown Swimming & Life Saving Club & Sirens Rest Beach.  Accessible parking can be found on the Esplanade which is wide paved pathway along the shoreline.

The beach is located within walking distance of a playground,  boutique shopping precincts and modern funky cafes and chic bistros along with other attractions including the Williamstown Botanic Gardens, Williamstown Swimming and Life Saving Club swimming pool, Parks and reserves including Cyril Curtain Reserve, Fearon Reserve, Sadler Reserve and Hatt Reserve.
