Upper Kedron Recreation Reserve playground

Suburban all-abilities park built around a large climbing frame, art-covered concrete structures, and plenty of play options for all ages. Flat, accessible paths connect the play areas, running under a shaded, colourfully painted rooftop section.

Accessible parking & drop-off: A single, small on-site car park is accessed directly off Upper Kedron Rd, with roughly 10–14 marked bays. The accessible bays sit at the near corner of the lot, right where a path begins — this same corner also makes a good spot for a wheelchair-accessible vehicle to pull in and drop off, without needing to navigate further into the loop.

Getting from the car park to the playground: From the accessible bays/drop-off corner, a short, flat path leads straight down past the accessible toilets (positioned right between the car park and the main playground building) and continues directly into the inclusive playground and the free electric BBQ area — no road crossing or backtracking required.

Liberty Swing reminder: The park's Liberty Swing needs an MLAK key to unlock — available from the Enoggera Ward Office of Brisbane City Council, ph: (07) 3407 2510. It's unshaded/unsheltered, so worth arranging the key ahead of your visit.

Accessible toilets: Wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities on site, located on the path between the car park and the playground.
