St Kilda Sea Baths Seawater Pool

St Kilda Sea Baths Seawater Pool is a heated 25 m seawater pool on the St Kilda foreshore, operated by South Pacific Health Clubs. The pool area also has a seawater hydrotherapy spa, an aromatherapy steam room, lockers and a lounge with views over the bay. It sits inside a larger beachfront complex that includes a gym, cafés and restaurants, so the entrances and car parks are shared with other venues.

    Parking
Four perpendicular accessible bays sit directly out the front of the building, 10-20 m from the front entrance. The ground around the bays is level with no kerb to cross. The building entrance itself is raised, with a permanent ramp on either side leading up to it. A separate above-ground car park runs along the side of the building, it has no marked accessible bays, but a ramp connects it to the building. The venue's website lists over 400 spaces in total, above ground and undercover, all entered from Jacka Boulevard.

    Entrances
Two main entrances: one at the front of the building on the Jacka Boulevard side, and one at the rear facing the beach. Both are automatic double sliding glass doors with permanent ramp access.

    Getting to the water
Reception, the pool and the change rooms are all on the ground floor, so no lift is involved. The pool has a permanent ramp into the water with handrails. An aquachair is also available upon request. The hydrotherapy spa does not have a ramp, but its stairs have a handrail.

    Change rooms and toilets
The change rooms are beside the pool and include a wheelchair accessible change room with a roll-in shower. A separate accessible toilet sits in the shared part of the building near the front entrance, rather than inside the pool area. It is unisex, set up for a right-hand transfer, has a change table, and no MLAK key is needed.

    Entry
A carer or companion enters free. Concession pricing is available. Current fees, opening hours and any pool closures are listed at southpacifichc.com.au or by phone on (03) 9525 4888.
