The St Kilda Pier extends roughly ~500 m into the Hobsons Bay, providing scenic views, a passenger ferry, a kiosk selling food and drinks, a yacht marina, and penguin habitat. There are plenty of benches placed along the pier's length.

    Pier Surface & Gradient

The pier is almost entirely flat with the exceptions of the loading berth for the passenger ferry, which is slightly ramped, and a staggered seating arrangement by the kiosk, which is only accessible via stairs.

The surface of the pier is split between two main materials, smooth concrete and wooden boards, both of which make up their own lane that extends the full length of the pier.

    Bathrooms

There is an accessible bathroom located behind the kiosk. This bathroom has an automatic locking system that requires the occupant to press a button to lock and unlock the door. Note that the bathroom will unlock itself after 10 minutes.

    Parking

The nearest accessible parking spots to the entrance of the pier are located at the St Kilda Sea Baths Complex (paid boom gate parking), and by the Captain Cook memorial on Jacka Blvd (free with permit). Both locations are ~150 m from the entrance of the pier on the shore.
