    Redhead Beach is at the northern end of Nine Mile Beach at Lake Macquarie, popular with families & surfers.

    The beach is patrolled from the September school holidays until April by Redhead Surf Life Saving Club. Swimming is beside the shark tower at the surf club & there are heaps of rock pools for the kids to play in.

    A beach wheelchair is available on request or by approaching the patrol on the day. A wheelchair ramp is available at the northern end of the area in front of the clubhouse and all areas from the carpark to that ramp are wheelchair accessible, including the kiosk Cargo Espresso Bar. There is an accessible toilet & shower with MLAK , accessible family room & accessible parking.
