Great access for wheelchairs via side or back of beer garden at back of the pub ... disabled parking in car park but limited spaces... great food and entry to bistro via back as front doors have a step ... lift available to access Frankie’s rooftop bar and large disabled toilet near lift ... overall easy to access but can be crowded weekend nights ... has live music most weekends also ...

Leagues Club Park in Gosford is an unique play destination which incorporates the tides of Brisbane Water into its design.

There are three black towers which are “play pods” encouraging free play with rope ladders, climbing nets, platforms and rope tunnels that connects one pod to another.  The highest pod has a large spiral slide which goes through the hill popping out at the bottom.  There is a wide toddler slide, small climbing wall to access the slide and a large suspended climbing frame in the middle of the park.  

One of the unique features of the park is the tidal terrace which is an aquatic play area filled with sandstone animal ‘islands’ including a dolphin, stingray and turtle, that are covered and exposed as the tide rises and falls.  There is also a ship wreck and timber platforms that represent the canoes that once populated the bay.

The Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council provided input into the design of the park along with the cultural poles which are part of an artwork by a local indigenous artist. The colours and symbols on the poles represent different Aboriginal Nations and Country. Sandstone stairs are provided down to the Tidal Terrace and great to sit on & watch over the kids along with a ramp.  Past the tidal terrace is a large grassed area known as Ray Maher Field with wide lead-in pathways. 

There are BBQs, picnic tables, covered picnic shelters, exercise equipment, three water refill stations, outdoor showers, grassed area & wide accessible easy roll pathway around the park with views over Brisbane Waters.

Accessible public toilets are available with easy roll pathways along with accessible parking close to the park.

There are a few cafes dotted around closeby including Eat Street Cafe opposite the park on the waterfront, Tommys Cafe, south End Social and of course  the Central Coast Leagues Club.
