United Cinemas Collaroy

Long Reef Golf Club is only the second 100% disabled-friendly golf course in Australia, with a brand new Paragolfer (a revolutionary all-terrain mobility device which allows an individual to maneuver into a standing position to replicate a full golfing experience) available to hire. The Paragolfer is available for use on the practice facility most of the week and on the course subject to bookings.
The Club itself is also accessible to wheelchair users and provides step-free access inside the club house. There is a gentle ramp from the car park, which has designated accessible spaces, up to the main reception. An accessible toilet is available on site.

A coastal stroll down from Dee Why Beach Surf life saving club to dee why pool is mostly flat with concrete paths. It is a 500 metre stroll one way. Along the path, there are stairs that take you down to another path to continue heading towards the pool. There is a ramp that can also be used to take you down the path. 

There is 2 hours free accessible parking at dee why beach outdoor car park located a short distance from the Life Saving Club. There are 4 accessible parking bays with marked out yellow lines for a wheelchair to roll up beside the vehicle. 

Accessible toilets are located 60 meters to the left of Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club. To get to the toilets, you have to cross the road, which requires stepping down from the curb. There is a driveway that can be used to get from the path to the road. Across the road, there is a ramp that can be used to return to the footpath that takes you to the bathrooms however the bottom of the ramp is covered with sand.

Sydney Beachouse YHA in Collaroy is inaccessible to wheelchair users due to steps. However there is a lift available to the communal kitchen, dining room and TV rooms. The Family Room will be big enough to accommodate a wheelchair and also has a roll-in shower but the room itself is not designated accessible.. Accessible cafes and resterants can be found in the nearby area.

Bellagio By The Sea is inaccessible to wheelchair users. The hotel has no rooms suitable for wheelchair access and not all areas of the hotel can be accessed step-free.

Quality Hotel Sands is accessible to wheelchair users. There is step-free access into the building via a ramp outside the front, leading into the reception. The hotel has four large wheelchair accessible rooms with roll-in showers. The hotel’s restaurant is also accessible to wheelchair users. Stella Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria is an Italian restaurant which is accessible to wheelchair users. There is a ramp allowing wheelchair access to the entrance and indoor dining area, which is step-free. Outside, there is a takeaway kiosk serving coffee and snacks, with more accessible seating available. Space for wheelchair users is restricted but allocating the tables is no problem. 
An accessible toilet is provided by the venue but there are no designated parking spots nearby.

Stay Grounded is an accessible cafe located on Pittwater Road in Collaroy. There is step-free access into the venue and throughout, but space is tight and some inside tables may be inaccessible. There is more accessible seating outside of the cafe, which offers a takeaway service. 

There are accessible toilets closeby at Collary Surf Lifesaving Club and designated parking spots nearby on the street & car park opposite.

Stay Grounded

The Collaroy is a bar and restaurant located just a stone’s throw away from Collaroy beach. The Pittwater Road entry offers step-free access into the venue, which has a lift to help wheelchair users access the first floor. Outside tables are also available. There is generously spaced accessible seating throughout, as well as an accessible unisex toilet.

There is step-free access into the shop, which houses a limited amount of seating inside and out. There are no accessible toilets on site and no designated parking spots nearby.

Ocean's is an accessible cafe, bar, restaurant offering vibrant, casual dining directly across from North Narrabeen beach.

The venue features step free entry via paved level pathway approach to open plan entry with freestanding tables, chairs, banquette seating, large open windows and access to the counter.  There is further covered outdoor street dining and benches. 

Ocean's offers a range of options from coffee, breakfasts to fresh seafood, steaks, gourmet burgers and ribs, Sunday Sessions, live music and mid-week specials.

Accessible parking can be found in the large car park opposite, accessible toilets at Lake Park Oval.
