This little wildlife sanctuary is a hidden gem!
Moonlit Sanctuary is easily accessible for those with limited mobility, or who have prams to manage, with access provided by ramps and wide doors throughout the Sanctuary.
The whole park has a gravel path that is easy to navigate, right from the entry pavilion.
With assistance, there is even enough room to navigate the "air locks" and access the bird enclosures.
The park is small enough that the outing is not too tiring.
The ground is flat to undulating, with compressed gravel paths that link all exhibit areas.
There are numerous benches situated around the Sanctuary so you can always find a seat to take a breather.
Please note that there are wood chip paths at some exhibit areas.
There are lots of glass panes around enclosures so that children and those seated in wheelchairs can still see the animals in their enclosures.
The wallabies and kangaroos are not fazed by wheelchairs and will happily approach them.
