Hillarys Boat Harbour offers a permanent beach matting pathway with direct access to the water at their swimming cove. A free beach wheelchair is available to hire, book via the City’s Facilities Booking Office: 9:30am to 5pm Mon–Fri on 9400 4618  and limited times on the weekend. The key can be collected from the City’s bookings office and the wheelchair is located at the Sorrento Surf Life Saving Club building in the Harbour with additional beach wheelchair at Mullaloo Surf Life Saving Club. There is an accessible fishing platform located at the northern end of the Harbor beyond Hillarys Yacht Club. An universal access floating pontoon is also available which allows for people with limited mobility to easily board and disembark from vessels. Free short-term parking is available on both sides of the Harbour. Accessible toilets are nearby at Hillarys Harbour 2, harbour 3 & Sorrento Quay Boardwalk .

Hillarys Boat Harbour

Sorrento Beach is one of Perth's traditional northern beach suburbs. Renowned as one of the safest beaches in Western Australia & site of the Sorrento Surf Life Saving Club. Beach matting is available on the front beach next to The Baths restaurant. There is accessible beach equipment available, including all-terrain walkers and beach wheelchairs, free to use on a first come first service basis and do not require booking. The equipment is easily pushed over the sand to the water’s edge. To access either chair or walker, visit the storage locker and enter the pin code to open. Please contact Community Development on 9400 4226 or via email for pin code. There is ACROD parking and designated accessible toilets along with a Changing Places facility. This is accessedd via the MLAK key system, contact the Community Development Officer or visit the City in person at the Administration Centre.

Sorrento Beach

Marmion Beach is approximately 1.5 kilometres long featuring soft white sand & crystal clear blue waters. The beach does not offer beach matting however, there is accessible toilets & free parking available along with outdoor showers. There are many attaractions near the beach including Hillarys Boat Harbour featuring an aquarium, water park & a variety of shops & resturants along with a coastal walk.
