    Main Beach is a stunning popular beach closest to Byron Bay town. The beach offers white sand & clear blue waters. The Byron Bay Surf Club is located at Main Beach & patrols the beach every day of the year by the Australian Lifeguard Service on weekdays and volunteers on weekends and public holidays. The Sandcruiser beach wheelchair is available available to hire for free from the Lifeguard Service. There is a wide ramp access directly in front of the Surf Club providing easy access to the beach or you can follow the path along the foreshore all the way up to Clarkes Beach. The in town location of Main Beach makes it a popular spot for families as it’s so easy to take a break for lunch, an ice cream or a stroll through town. An automatic public toilet block, Male, Female, Accessibility, Open 24hrs, showers, taps & baby changing facilities There is a large grassy area, BBQs, picnic tables, drinking fountain & car park. Apex Park is adjacent to Main Beach provides a great vantage point with a large shaded playground.
