Lake Cathie Accessible Fishing Platform

Located on the southern side of the Lake Cathie Foreshore, the wheelchair-friendly fishing platform sits alongside the existing footpath, linking directly to the accessible car park and toilet. The platform features handrails along the sides, rod holders, and a low guard rail on the water side to allow ease of casting for wheelchair users. The platform surface is grooved timber decking, smooth and flush with the connecting path, allowing a level transition for wheelchair users. A fish cleaning table and seating are also available on site.

Accessible toilets are located close by, reached via a concrete path connecting directly to the platform.
