The main entrance involves a number of steps. There is an alternative way in via a staff pathway on the left hand side of the entrance, set on a solid rock ramp leading past the kitchen. This route may have a few items or trolleys left by staff along the way, but these are quickly and happily moved aside to clear the path.
The team at Kayuputi are warm, attentive and highly accommodating. Staff will guide you in through this side ramp, past the kitchen, and help find the most suitable table for you inside. The service feels high class and genuinely welcoming throughout, with the team going out of their way to make entry smooth and comfortable.
Once inside, the dining space is spacious and easy to move through, with staff on hand to assist as needed.
The toilets are reached via a flat and level pathway, with no steps along the way. The doorway thresholds into the toilet area are narrow. There is no grab rail fitted in the toilet cubicles. The individual cubicles are compact, fitting comfortably for one ambulant person, but they are not suitable for wheelchair users.
