Jolly Nose Mountain Bike Park

Jolly Nose Mountain Bike Park is located at the corner of Houston Mitchell Drive and Spring Creek Road, an easy 20-minute drive south of Port Macquarie and easily accessible by car.

Carpark has no accessible parking and terrain is dirt and bumpy.

There is one toilet at the main mountain bike trails carpark, though it is not accessible.

Overall, the park does not cater for people with access needs.

All trails are signposted and rated by difficulty level, ranging from beginner to advanced:

• Green – Easy: Smooth, predictable surface with small obstacles and gentle gradients. Suitable for beginners and families getting started.

• Blue – Intermediate: More technical features, steeper sections, and obstacles to navigate. Suitable for riders with basic skills and trail experience.

• Black – Difficult: Challenging technical features, steep and loose terrain, and large drops. For experienced riders only — pre-riding is recommended before committing.

• Double Black – Extreme: Highly exposed and extremely technical, with no run-outs. Suitable only for experienced riders who have assessed the feature on foot first.

Riders are encouraged to ride to their ability, as ratings are a guide rather than a challenge. Trail conditions vary daily — a trail rated blue in dry summer conditions can become significantly harder after rain. When in doubt, riders are advised to walk sections out rather than attempt them.
