Lake Innes House Ruins has a medium disability access level. The boardwalk features gentle grades with no steps, making it accessible for wheelchairs, prams, and visitors with limited mobility, though some assistance may be needed in certain areas, such as grassy surfaces. Access roads to the site are unsealed.
The public access gate is located 8km west of Port Macquarie's town centre — from the Oxley Highway, take the John Oxley Drive roundabout exit, turn left onto The Ruins Way, follow it to the southern end, then turn right onto The Point Drive, stopping at the locked gate on the left.
The Ruins site is closed to public entry except via guided tour, and involves a 1km walk. Visitors enter via an unsealed path with a slight incline, including some raised boardwalks.
