    Honeysuckle

The Honeysuckle Harbourside Promenade is a 1.1-kilometre flat, paved shared path through Newcastle's waterfront dining and entertainment precinct, located next to Newcastle Museum. Visit Newcastle describes a wide, smooth paved promenade, gentle gradients and level access throughout, so it suits manual wheelchairs, power chairs and mobility scooters alike. It is part of 11km of uninterrupted pathways alongside Newcastle's harbour, stretching from Wickham marina in the city's west to Merewether in the east, so you can carry on past Queens Wharf towards Nobbys if you want a longer outing. Two accessible light rail stops serve the promenade: Along the way you will find accessible cafes and restaurants like the beehive, the Honeysuckle Hotel, and Maserap a philipino desert and ice cream bar, etc

etc at the harbour's edge. HCCDC planned the Honeysuckle Park amenities building with two wheelchair accessible unisex toilets with baby change facilities, and more accessible toilets are inside Newcastle Museum, while accessible parking is available on Honeysuckle Drive and in the Wright Lane car park
