Grants beach coastal walk

The Grants Beach Coastal Walk runs from North Haven, near the Camden Haven River mouth, through to the cliffs at Grants Headland in Bonny Hills. The track is well signposted, starting at the North Haven Surf Club - head back along The Parade, and the path entrance is on the right, along the eastern edge of the caravan park.

This is a one-way walk of roughly 7km return, with no shops or water refill points along the way, so visitors need to bring their own water and appropriate clothing. Around 15 minutes in, the track splits at a fork, with a different route available for those returning the same way. For those not completing the full return trip, Busways Route 334K runs along Ocean Drive parallel to the track and can be used as a pick-up option.

This walk is not recommended for people with mobility issues or wheelchair users. While the majority of the track is flat, shaded, and sandy, the sandy surface itself makes it difficult to traverse for wheelchairs and mobility aids. Conditions worsen significantly approaching Grants Headland, where the path narrows and climbs sharply up steep, uneven terrain - this section is not wheelchair accessible and would be challenging for those with mobility limitations.

Accessible parking and accessible toilets are only available at the start of the trail, at the North Haven Surf Club - there are no accessible facilities further along the track.
