Burden Park in Springvale features a great playground with a huge fortress with castles, towers & hidden areas.  There are also multiple slides, sandpit, springy rocker, swings, seesae & climbing nets.

The park has accessible pathways, grassed area, shaded picnic tables, BBQs, basketball court, lawn bowls, tennis courts, seating areas, shelter, walking & cycling trails, free parking & public toilets.  Accessible toilets can be found at Heatherton Park 2km away. 

Burden Park also offers a Ninja, Warrior Course aimed at ages 12+, even though younger ones can also have a go. There is a wide variety of climbing & balancing equipment including poles, rock climbing wall, hanging balancing beam, monkey bars & lots more.

Springvale community Hub Playground can be found at the back of Springvale Library & nestled between Springvale Town Hall.  

The playground features a Ninja-style climbing obstacle course, sand pit with water play that has a water pump that leads to a wooden beam, cascading over rocks &  sending the water off into the sand play area.  There are slides, swings, an inground spinning wheel, music wheels, stepping stones, balance beams & more.

The playground is set around landscaped gardens & large trees that provide shade with benches dotted around, wide accessible pathways & walking/cycling trails.  

There are community style picnic tables, a rotunda, BBQs, open grassy area, shelter, table tennis tables, cafe nearby, unique artwork, basketball courts, large outdoor screen, parking, drinking water, regular toilet & baby change table.  Accessible toilets can be found 800m away at Springvale Station.  

Springvale Community Hub Park Playground

Pencil Park Playground at Hidden Grove Reserve in Keysborough features a neighbourhood level playground catering for the needs of children of all ages & abilities.

The equipment includes a zip-line, huge climbing structure with net tunnel & rock climbing walls, inclusive carousel, swings, musical chimes, small obstacle course, spinning net pyramid, nature-inspired kanope, inground trampoline & wet-land themed play panel. 

The park also features a lovely lake with ducks & frogs with a walking path over the bridge & through the wetlands.  There are wide level pathways to sheltered picnic area with water fountain, BBQs benches, tables & plenty of open fields.

Unfortunately there are no toilets onsite, the closest accessible ones can be found 1km away at Ian Tatterson Leisure Park on Cheltenham Road along with Parkmore Shopping Centre 2km away & Braeside Park Grovernor Road Car Park.

Pencil Park

Tatterson Park is a 48 hectare park located on Cheltenham Road in Keysborough, & includes Springers Leisure Centre. The park has a 20 hectare woodland in the centre, three sportsgrounds, a regional insect playground, & extensive wetlands & walking tracks.

The park features a World of Insects playground includings ladybugs, ants, beehives & a giant magnifying glass where you & the family shrink & the bugs become giant!

The huge playground is completely covered in shade sails offering multiple play structures, slides, flying fox, sand & water play area.

An accessible toilet with baby change facilities can be found onsite  along with sheltered seating,  picnic area, BBQs, parking, dog off-leash area, wetlands, walking/cycling tracks, plenty of open spaces, soccer fields, fitness equipment, ovals & a basketball court alongside. 

Tatterson Park (Ants) Playground

Pirate Park can be found in the Somerfield Estate in Keysborough & lives up to its name with two mighty ships including telescopes, sails, ropes, bell, crows nest rum & gunpowder barrels & even a plank to walk.

The park also includes a rope climb, scrambling wall, inclined rope reverse, pirate bones, steps, ladder, look out point, pole, big metal tunnel slide, musical instruments, seesaw, springers, shark, octopus, seal sculptures, bird nest swing & spinning donut ring.

There is a good sized basketball court with soccer goals, grassy area, big shelter with benches & tables, BBQ, water tap, unshaded tables, seats, benches & landscaped gardens

There are regular toilets onsite, closest accessible ones can be found just over 2km away at Ian Tatterson Leisure Park on Cheltenham Road.  Parking is on street & limited.

Somerfield Reserve - Pirate Park

Bergen Reserve Playground, Bergen Street in Keysborough has a slight train theme with a name plate of Bergen Station.  

Only a small playground which features climbing structure, slide, springer, swings, revolving disk & seesaw.

There is a picnic table with no shade. parking is on the street, lead in pathways around the park but the playground is not paved so accessibility might be challenging.  No toilets onsite, the closest accessible ones can be found nearly 3kms away at Dandenong Station.

Bergen Reserve Playground

The Frederick Wachter Reserve features tennis courts, BBQ facilities, sports ovals, soccer fields, cricket nets, dog off-leash area & neighbourhood playground.

There is sheltered seating & areas available, accessible toilets, parking & lead-in pathways.  

The playground features climbing equipment & tunnels & a variety of slides.  The playground is currently being redesigned for an upgrade.
