Accessible Beach In Port DouglasFour Mile Beach, Port Douglas

Port Douglas is home to Four Mile Beach a lengthy stretch of golden sand fringed by palm trees.

There is a ramp onto the beach with roll out beach matting that allows wheelchairs to get down to the hard sand. There is a beach wheelchair available to rent free of charge from the Lifeguard Hut. Swim only in the lifeguard patrolled area towards the northern end of the beach. Here you'll also find the trailhead to Flagstaff Hill and a number of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. There is accessible parking directly in front of the Life Saving Club. There are accessible toilets & lead up pathways.
