🚌 Zaragoza-Delicias Bus Station
Address: Calle Rioja 33, 50017 Zaragoza
Location: Underneath Zaragoza-Delicias Train Station
Zaragoza’s main bus station shares its building with the Delicias train station, sitting one level below. The complex is fully accessible and easy to navigate, with lifts and ramps connecting both transport modes seamlessly.
🚖 Drop-off, parking and taxis
• Taxi rank right at the front bus station entrance
• Accessible drop-off zone and parking bay 50 meters away from main entrance in La Rioja Street, for up to 30 minutes right next to the entrance
• Additional drop-off points are spread around the building, so there’s plenty of flexibility for safe drop-offs
• City bus stops are also located right at the entrance, with kerbs and ramps for level boarding
🚪 Entering the station
After the entrance, there’s a direct, step-free link to the train station through the shared intermodal lobby. Several accessible cafés are located nearby for a break before your trip.
You can go straight down to the bus level via the lift, and all buttons are at wheelchair height.
There are toilets in the ground floor. Right on the left, before the lifts. The doors may appear to be closed, but they can be opened by inserting a coin or turning a little with a heavy metallic item. If you need assistance, call the station directly at 976700599 — the voice that answers is an AI, but you can ask to speak to an operator and someone will come and assist you.
🚌 Catching your bus
⚠️ You must book your accessible space in advance. Always check with your bus operator (e.g. ALSA) — they typically require at least 36–48 hours’ notice to confirm an adapted bus is allocated to your route.
Once you arrive at the -2 level (where all buses depart), check the large digital screens to find the platform your bus is leaving from. When the bus arrives, wheelchair users board first, and the driver will deploy the lift or platform for you to board.
🚻 Accessible toilets — important note
The accessible toilets are located between platforms 3 and 4 in -2 level. After the lift, head to your left and follow the signs.
⚠️ When we visited, the accessible toilets seemed to be closed. Try to open themou arrive and find them locked with no staff around, we strongly recommend calling the concierge number for assistance before assuming they’re unavailable. Staff can usually open them on request.
There are two sets of accessible toilets throughout the complex:
• One connecting to the main bus entrance
• One connecting to the train and high-speed train station
🛗 Other accessibility features
• 100% accessible station — lifts, escalators and ramps connecting both levels
• Adif Acerca assistance service available across the whole complex (same service as the train station)
• Free Wi-Fi in waiting areas
• Automated luggage lockers (07:00–23:00)
• ATMs, cafés, restaurants and 24-hour vending machines
• Large paid underground parking with direct accessible access to the terminal
• Line 501 connects directly to Zaragoza Airport (20–30 mins)
