BOST Café — Accessibility Description
Drop off and parking The entrance sits directly on the port promenade, so a car drop off right at the front is possible but not highly recommended, given the pedestrian and outdoor dining activity along that stretch. Accessible parking bays are available within the harbour precinct near the pier, with a further accessible bay located approximately 100 metres from the café.
Pathway to entrance The pathway connecting from parking to the café entrance is smooth and well connected, with a ramp easing the short rise up to entrance level, so there is no need to negotiate a step.
Interior space Inside, the dining area is not cramped and comfortably holds around 16 to 20 tables, with reasonable room to move between them. The service counter is set at bar height, which may be difficult to reach or see over for some visitors, though staff are attentive and happy to assist with placing an order and processing payment.
Toilets There are no accessible toilets inside. The threshold leading to the bathroom area is narrow, and neither the male nor the female toilet has been adapted for accessible use.
