North Bilgola Lookout

The Bert Payne Reserve Inclusive Playground overlooks Newport Beach & offers play equipment that's inclusive & appropriate for a wide range of abilites. It provides playful opportunities for children with physical & learning disabilities, as well as sensory impairments. 

The award winning inclusively designed Recycling Truck features a wide range of play activities & a wheelchair-accessible ramp. The park also offers a wheelchair accessible trampoline & wheelspin. 

Accessible pathways , seating including direct accessible picnic table are available, along with BBQ facilities, shade cloths & sandstone sculptures. There is a MLAK key locked stand-alone accessible bathroom nearby along with accessible parking.

Bert Payne Park

Bilgola Beach is a surf beach 500m long with good swimming & body surfing conditions.  The beach is patrolled by volunteer Surf Lifesavers from September to April each year.  

The FreeWheeler beach wheelchair is available to hire free of charge 7 days a week from Bilgola Life Saving Club contact direct on (02) 9918 2337.

There is an unisex accessible bathroom with MLAK key lock & accessible parking.  

There is a cafe closeby with outside seating, picnic area, kiosk & accessible toilet.
