Jaspresso is an accessible Japanese cafe open for lunch serving Donburi, coffee and sweet treats. Very good accessibility with ramp, wide door entrance.

Isabella Cafe

EMH Health Club is very difficult to locate, opposite the entrance to Woman’s Hospital carpark which is the only parking easily available.  Further parking can be found at the multi-storey, 33 Bedford Street.
There is works in the area as also the RMH Materials Handling Building, meaning a lot of traffic.
Disability access displayed on front entrance however location unclear. There is a lift but if was out of order so no accessible access to level 1 where entrance located. 
Accessible toilets can be found at Ievers Reserve & within the hospital




EFM Health Club

Royal Park Nature Playground is located on the corner of Flemington Road and Gatehouse Street.

A unique playground with lots of native planting and wooden play features.

The main entrance is located on Gatehouse Street, with 6 designated accessible parks, accessible toilet and ramp to main playground area. There are two areas with picnic tables, water taps and BBQs plus seating although no shelters or shade.

There are wide smooth paths throughout the park although some minor slopes.
Accessible parking can be found at the multi-storey, 33 Bedford Street.  

Royal Park Nature Play Playground

The Larwill Studio is an art filled boutique hotel joined to the Royal Childrens Hospital Melbourne.

Main entrance has stairs but easily accessible via side entrance or lift from underground car park.

There is designated parking on Flemington Road and approx 8 spaces underground near lift.

Most areas Of University Sqaure are not easily accessible, there are  steps / a retainer surrounding the park to get to the lawn. There is step free access via the north most part of the park. Be conscious however there is currently restricted access to the park from the north side due to the construction of Parkville station at November 2022.
Terrain best option: mix of grass and concrete. There is seating in the middle of the park on concrete. 
Inclines: the park is on a slight incline heading north. 

Accessible toilet: toilets are nearby at the FBE building at university of Melbourne. They are wheelchair accessible, unisex, manual door.

Flemington Road Oval is situated off Flemington Rd, Parkville, next to the Royals Melbourne Children Hospital. 
There is some outdoor seating (not shaded) and a covered shaded area for viewing.  There is grassed area & paved pathway.  
No access to pavilion building and no toilet outside or onsite parking.

Flemington Road Cricket Oval

An accessible Vietnamese restaurant at The University of Melbourne with step-free access through automatic sliding doors. 
There is spacious outdoor seating and potentially crowded indoor seating. There are various table types including benches and high stools. Parking can be found on the University grounds.  Accessible toilets are located on every level in the North wing and levels B1, GF, L1 and L2 in the Western wing. Very friendly from accessibility perspective. It has two separate accessible entrances. First is via the street and up the lift. The second is via their car park which has accessible car park. 
All of their cinemas have ramps for access. Cinema 3 has an accessibility lift (not a ramp). There is a limitation though on battery operated wheelchairs due to the weight of the wheelchairs as per the maximum weight capacity for the ramps. 
There are accessible toilets with ample space for wheelchairs and have automated doors.

Museo Italiano is an accessible permanent exhibition which draws on and displays the records, images and objects from CO.AS.IT.'s Italian Historical Society.

Melbourne Museum

We had a mixed experience when we visited the Melbourne Museum earlier this year.  I can only conditionally recommend it as an accessible venue, which is very disappointing.

There is very good disabled parking underneath the building, and the lift to travel to the museum is a reasonable size.

However, the lift within the museum is tiny and not appropriate for a large wheelchair - especially if a carer is needed to accompany the wheelchair user.

This means that a group cannot easily move through the museum together.

When we asked staff for another way to access the upper level, we were directed to a ramp that lead to a wet and cold outdoor garden.  We discovered an indoor ramp by ourselves later in our visit, so *thumbs down* for staff being helpful.

The disabled toilets that we found were ludicrously small.  I would not call them accessible.  There may have been other accessible toilets around but see the point about the unhelpful staff.  Additional accessible toilets can be found at Argyle Place

Finally, some spaces were set up so that it was very difficult to navigate the wheelchair - and we almost ran over a small child as a result!

It was a very disappointing outing.

There is step free access to the venue, with a permanent ramp. 
Inside, the lifts easy to find, they are in the right side of the mall.
There are clearly marked accessible toilets & parking at Bourke Square.  



Bourke Street Mall is accessible with step free access to the venue.  Accessible entries are clearly labelled on walls to entries that are not accessible. Doors are left open during opening hours.
Numerous lifts are located within mall & are easy to find and well marked
Clearly marked accessible toilets on all signage. Seperate accessible toilets available with additional accessible cubicles present in some Male toilets
Accessible toilets present on every second floor. Easy to access. However floor 3 accessible toilets present in the “Emporium” side of the mall and not Myer. 
Parents room is accessibility inclusive. Changing tables are available.
Accessible toilets have usual automatic button to open door.
Clean and spacious within accessible toilet. Accessible cubicle present in Men’s has small door and minimal space.

Cafe is accessible with indoor and outdoor seating. There is also an inaccessible upper level (stairs only).  
No on-site toilet facilities but can be found at Royal Park Playground.  
There is paid street parking but no designated accessible parking.  Accessible parking can be found at University of Melbourne, Parkville Campus.
