Off-street accessible parking

There is a bus stop located on the main street nearby, providing convenient public transport access. A public parking lot is adjacent to the facility, with a flat entrance for easy access. The parking lot itself is on a slight incline downhill towards the toilets. They are left unlocked at all times. There are two unisex toilets available, both with a spacious interior. A handrail is installed next to the toilet to assist with mobility needs. While the facilities are functional, they are cleaned infrequently and may not always be in optimal condition.

Albion Park Showground Public Toilet South

The parking lot for the Albion Park Showground. The parking lot is on a slight incline, surfaced with smooth asphalt, although the surrounding area is much rougher. The parking area is on a slight incline but the pathways and showground grass is fairly flat. Toilets are located adjacent to the parking lot.

Woolworths and adjacent stores parking area, the area is flat with ramps providing access to the pathways. The nearest restrooms are located in Red Rooster or the Ampol petrol station.

Parking lot for Terry Street shops, with a bus stop on site. Most stores have a small step at the entrance, but Three Flamingos Café offers an accessible ramp and toilet inside.

Parking lot is located closest to McDonald’s but also provides access to nearby stores. The road surface is rough but level with the store entrances. Restrooms are available inside McDonald’s.

Parking is available in the car park or at the bus stop on the adjacent street, with a smooth path leading to the toilets. The facilities are cleaned frequently.

Accessible Toilet

Parking for the cinema and surrounding stores is in a large carpark on a steep incline, with the cinema located uphill and restaurants and offices downhill. Restrooms are available inside the cinema.

Parking for Regal Heights Shopping Complex, entrance is on a steep hill. The parking area itself is on a slight incline, with a smooth but narrow connecting pathway to the shops. There are no toilets nearby.

Parking is spread out in front of each store entrance, all of which provide accessible entry. The connecting footpath is smooth and flush with the road. The nearest public toilets are located at Hungry Jack’s or the Ampol petrol station.

Nearest parking available for access to the public pool, library, youth centre, and public garden. The area is flat, with several accessible spots located near building entrances. Restrooms are available within the facilities, or a public toilet located further down the street near Woolworths.

The location sits in a slight dip, with a gentle ramp providing access up to the sidewalk. The carpark is small making parking limited. This is the closest accessible parking to Albion Park Medical Centre and the main street businesses. The nearest restroom is approximately 200 metres away, located near Woolworths.

Parking is available on the back street, with a bus stop located approximately 100 metres away on the main road. The area is flat throughout the surrounding space.

Mood Park Public Toilet

Parking  at the back of Albion Park Arcade, providing access to the main road shopping strip. The area is flat. The nearest public toilet is approximately 50 metres away, located around the corner at Mood Park.

Located at the back of Albion Park Public School, the drop-off area is flat and has plenty of space. A ramp is positioned near the entrance, providing a smooth transition from the parking or drop-off zone. Entry into the school involves a slight uphill incline, handrails are available along the path

Parking is available close to entrance, there is ramp access from the parking lot and a large entrance pathway. The area is flat, with enough space inside for two trolleys to pass through most areas. The nearest restroom is located outside.

Woolworths Albion Park

Parking is available in the Woolworths parking lot, with a bus stop located on the street nearby. The venue has a small ordering area with outdoor seating. The closest restroom is located next to Woolworths.

Joe's Milkbar

There is one accessible parking space available, with automated doors for entry. Pathways inside are narrow, but the seating areas provide sufficient space for a wheelchair. The restroom doors are light and push to open, they have restricted space, though it is kept clean.

The entry door is a little heavy and hard to push open but is often left open on good weather days. Inside, the waiting area is spacious, but most tables are high with stools, or seating is in cramped sections. Red Rooster Shellharbour

There is a large parking lot with designated accessible parking spaces close to the main entrance. The entrance features automatic doors. Inside, the entire area is tiled and flat, with a very spacious seating area. However, there are no accessible toilets available inside.

McDonald's Albion Park Rail

HARS Aviation Museum is a mostly ground floor venue with generally flat access through the main public areas. The floors inside the hangars are smooth concrete, which helps with movement through the larger display spaces. Some areas of the museum are only accessible as part of a guided tour. The museum closes at 3:30pm.

The Super Constellation has 15 steps to enter and is quite cramped inside

 

The aircraft interiors are generally narrow and include raised thresholds, which may make access difficult for some wheelchair users and people using mobility aids.

Visitors who prefer not to use stairs can still view many aircraft from ground level within the hangars.

The main hangar areas appear suitable for manual wheelchair users, while larger motorised wheelchairs may find some spaces more difficult to navigate.

The museum also has 2 to 3 donated wheelchairs available for visitors to use free of charge, subject to availability.
