Arbutus Park is a fenced neighbourhood playground managed by Fairfield City Council. Located on a street corner and enclosed by a low metal fence, the park features a colourful children's playground set among mature gum trees, with open lawn and shaded seating areas.
Access & Mobility
The park can be entered from the pedestrian footpath running alongside it, through a gate at the entrance. Inside, a concrete pathway runs through the park, providing a smooth, stable surface that connects the entrance to the seating and play areas. The playground is set on a rubber softfall surface.
Park signage displaying the park name is located at the entrance and is clearly visible from the street corner. Seating is available within the park, positioned on paved areas and reachable via the concrete path.
There is no accessible parking on site — street parking is available on the surrounding roads. There are no toilet or accessible toilet facilities at the park.
Please note: at the time of the visit, the entrance gate could not open fully. This may make entry difficult for wheelchair users or people using larger mobility aids.
