Sydney Beachouse YHA in Collaroy is inaccessible to wheelchair users due to steps. However there is a lift available to the communal kitchen, dining room and TV rooms. The Family Room will be big enough to accommodate a wheelchair and also has a roll-in shower but the room itself is not designated accessible.. Fishermans Beach is located between Collaroy point and the northern base of Long Reef Point. The 500 m long beach begins amongst the rocks on the south side of Collaroy rock pool, and curves round to face north against the rocks and wide rock platform of Long Reef. It is an accessible beach in Collaroy. There is step-free access onto the sand via a ramp in the middle of the beach. As the ramp is meant for launching boats from, it is not specifically designed for wheelchair access and will need to be negotiated with care. The sand itself is mainly crumbly and the beach is of a medium gradient. There are accessible toilets, showers and changing rooms located at the southern end of the beach. A cafe / kiosk, pay and display parking and picnic tables are available at the beach.

Long Reef Golf Club is only the second 100% disabled-friendly golf course in Australia, with a brand new Paragolfer (a revolutionary all-terrain mobility device which allows an individual to maneuver into a standing position to replicate a full golfing experience) available to hire. The Paragolfer is available for use on the practice facility most of the week and on the course subject to bookings.
The Club itself is also accessible to wheelchair users and provides step-free access inside the club house. There is a gentle ramp from the car park, which has designated accessible spaces, up to the main reception. An accessible toilet is available on site.
