Accessible parking Hay St - Port Macquarie

This accessible parking bay is in Port Macquarie's town centre, right beside the Historic Court House on the corner of Clarence and Hay Streets. The blue and white wheelchair symbol is painted on the bay, with a striped zone next to it for extra room to get in and out, and a steel bollard at the edge of the zone. Beside the bay, a wide concrete kerb ramp with a red brick border leads up to the footpath, which is smooth and level. From there it's a short roll to the Court House's picket fence and gardens. The street is lined with big Norfolk pines, so there's a fair bit of shade. Cafés, shops and the Glasshouse are all nearby in the town centre.
