You can buy video/photo packages at the venue on the day of your skydive. Photos Only $129 / Photos + Videos $179 / Dedicated $269 / Ultimate $369

Your adventure will begin with a safety briefing followed by a scenic plane ride to a height of up to 15,000ft over spectacular views. Securely attached to your experienced tandem instructor, you will be guided through your entire skydive. As the excitement builds, your expert instructor will prepare you for the countdown and together you will make the ultimate jump out of the plane. After you experience free falling at speeds of 200kmph for up to 60 seconds, your instructor will pull the parachute and you will soar like a bird for 5-7 minutes taking in the panoramic views. 

Considerations for those with mobility needs

Since tandem skydiving is accompanied, the core activity is well suited to people with mobility needs. The main considerations are how to get to and enter the aircraft. At most drop zones, on most occasions, if you need to you can drive your wheelchair directly to the plane or helicopter (on the few occasions that this isn't possible, alternative arrangements will always be made)., Getting into the aircraft will always be done with the assistance of your instructor.

What medical restrictions or clearances do I need to skydive?

We do our best to get everyone skydiving, however, safety comes first. Each disability is different and for this reason you will require a medical certificate from your doctor stating it is safe for you to skydive.

It is important to inform us of your disability before making a booking. A few things we need to know: What kind of disability do you have? (e.g. Paraplegic). How will we need to customize your experience? (e.g. Need assistance to plane and from landing point). Are you on any medication for your condition? Etc

After receiving a booking confirmation from us, we will arrange for you to meet our Drop Zone Safety officer and run through the procedures that need to be undertaken BEFORE your skydive (E.g. making sure that the harness will fit correctly and without discomfort).

Our Drop Zone Safety officer will assess you before skydiving, the final decision is up to them and if they do not think it is safe you will not be able to skydive.

By law the minimum age to tandem skydive in Australia is 16 years old. If under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must be present on the day of the jump.

Weight is an important factor in skydiving and aviation. It affects aircraft weights and balances, fuel allowances, climb rates and equipment maintenance. Once at the drop zone, all customers are subject to a weight assessment by a Tandem Master. While we'd absolutely love to be able to take everyone skydiving, we do have some limitations when it comes to weight. Instructors may take individuals up to 115kg, depending on the drop zone and subject to assessment and Safety Officer approval. Please contact the drop zone you are jumping at directly to find out the weight limit specific to that location. If 94kg or over, surcharges do apply.

 We recommend loose, casual clothing with fully enclosed shoes, such as running or sports trainers. Hiking boots and high heels are not appropriate. *PLEASE NOTE* Due to COVID-19 we currently cannot offer any shared clothing. Please ensure you bring your own fleece/jumper and long pants, if it's cold.

Your instructor will cover flying basics during an orientation session in a group setting with fellow flyers, and then once you've been briefed, you'll receive your flight gear. After you've got your flight suit and helmet on, you'll be ready to go!

Your instructor will show you to the tunnel and soon you'll be flying right by their side. They'll provide personal instruction and demonstrate the skills you'll learn.

Our rates vary depending on the package you opt for (how many flights and at what time of day), and the location (because prices differ in each area). Typically, the one flight taster experience (including souvenir photos) will cost - $79.95 off peak and $99.95 at anytime. 

We can fly anyone aged 3 to 103 providing you are in a state of reasonable health and fitness, and can fit into one of our flight suits and helmets.

Does an adult have to accompany flyers under 18yrs?

Flyers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (over 18 yrs of age) on the day of flight. The parent / guardian will be required to provide a signature for their waiver as well as attend the classroom briefing. If you are bringing a group / party, the organiser can sign on behalf of multiple participants as a guardian.

We have quite a number of regular customers who are disabled and we will do our very best to fly anyone with a disability. This is almost always possible where the disability is physical. Owing to the extra attention normally required we ask that you contact us first so we can discuss your requirements and choose a suitable package. Whilst we cannot guarantee you will fly, we can guarantee that we will try our best to help you fly.

Anyone in a state of reasonable health & fitness from 3 to 103 can fly.

We have free and accessible parking available on site at iFLY Brisbane, iFLY Melbourne, iFLY Perth and iFLY Sydney. iFLY Gold Coast has all day parking available for $5 at Bruce Bishop Carpark.

What do I need to bring with me on the day?

Firstly, we ask that every flyer completes a waiver before arrival which can be done online here. It is particularly important that you take note of the information regarding previously dislocated shoulders.

Please arrive at iFLY comfortably dressed (avoid collars and hoods) and bring a pair of well fitting lace-up trainers. We find that jeans, t-shirt and a pair of skate/running shoes are ideal. If you don't have a pair of lace-up trainers, don't worry, we do have appropriate footwear for hire.

Is it difficult to breathe in the wind tunnel?

No, it’s just like breathing normally actually…..so there is no specialist breathing equipment required. Just relax and breathing will come naturally.

At the Visitor Centre you’ll be met by your conservationist guide, who will accompany you on a 75-minute walk through this magical setting, and share with you the secrets of the bush and the plants and animals who call the Otways home. 


During your tour, you will pause at the Conservation Ecology Centre Research Hub to learn about the conservation projects that Wildlife Wonders is supporting and see research techniques in action.


The tour winds along a gentle, 1.4km  path suitable to all ages and abilities. Before or after your tour, enjoy refreshments or a light lunch at the Emu Café, and browse the gift shop for a memento of your visit.

75 minute tour with a conservationist guide 

Wildlife Wonders offers an opportunity to see Australia's wildlife living freely in a natural habitat. Your tour will wander through lush tree fern gullies, eucalypt woodlands and pass spectacular ocean vistas, while your guide shares the secrets of the bush and the animals and plants that call the Otways home.  

Arrive at the welcoming visitor centre where you will find accessible facilities, a gift store, and the Emu Cafe. 
You will start your tour in the theatrette, where you will enjoy an Acknowledgement of Country, and be fitted with headsets and provided with binoculars. 
You will then embark on your 75-minute tour.

Almost everyone who takes to the air in a light aircraft talks about the exhilaration of flying.

For people with decreased mobility, that feeling is even more special; it provides a feeling of total liberation, of complete independence that you can't get down on mother Earth.

Knowing that you might have difficulty walking anywhere, but that you can FLY ANYWHERE opens a whole new world of adventure. If you want to learn to fly, you’ll meet a new community of enthusiasts – and maybe use it as a way of going on holiday, and seeing Australia from a different perspective.

Wheelies with Wings offers a flight training program. This includes a two-week Introduction to flying course held in Temora, NSW (5 hours drive from Sydney, 2 1/2 hours from Canberra, and 1 from Wagga Wagga).

Our purpose is to provide opportunities for people living with physical disability to participate in flying experiences.  Our service aims to enable greater independence, freedom and goal achievement, as well as capacity-building skills development, and greater participation in recreation, leisure, and travel.   

During the course you’ll receive ground instruction as required along with flying instruction up to a maximum of 15 hours. There are no exams and no licences required. We keep it safe, and as simple as possible! Throughout your flight experience with Wheelies you will not be allowed to fly alone. We will be right there with you from take-off to landing. You will gain useful knowledge, develop new skills and have a lot of fun. You will receive proper flying training which will be useful if you decide to continue flying or pursuing a full pilots license. The required Recreation Aviation Australia membership will be arranged prior to starting.

Your Capacity Building Supports budget can be used to increase Social & Community Participation. Learning to fly includes development and training to increase your skills so you can participate in community, social and recreational activities.

Wheelies With Wings offers the Suzi Duncan Scholarships for flying training courses based on a competitive selection process.

If you are self-funding you may be eligible for a partial or full scholarship. Each scholarship covers all Recreation Aviation Australia (RAA) membership, accommodation, meals, ground and flight training.

1 - The 2 hour early summer Whale Cruise gives you the unique opportunity to witness the majestic beauty of our migrating Humpback Whales. Imagine setting off on the immaculate Jervis Bay, on a clear day, and having these awe-inspiring Humpback Whales greet you on their journey. A truly life-changing experience set against rugged cliffs and ancient sea caves.

On the Northern migration we sight Whales within a mile or so off the dramatic sea cliffs on Jervis Bay’s peninsula, making it one of the most exciting Whale watching experiences on the East coast of Australia. During the Southern migration, we begin to get mothers and their newborn calves coming to rest in Jervis Bay. During this time viewing the Whales is in the sheltered waters of Jervis Bay, offering the most unique viewing of the season. A lasting, treasured memory.

2 - Outside of the migrating months, our famous dolphin cruise introduces you to our resident bottlenose dolphin colony, which numbers between 80 & 90 members throughout the year. You’ll see the dolphins leaping through the clear ocean waters and swimming right alongside our vessel. In addition to the dolphins, you’ll see other wildlife living, hunting, and playing in their natural habitat, and you will have the opportunity to see many stunning scenic areas of the bay. Nb: Whales are only here in winter.

3 -  In the summer months, add some extra fun to your Dolphin Cruise – Enjoy the Boom-Netting experience!. 

Combined with the dolphin tour we cruise on the pristine waters of Jervis Bay and drop the boom net in the water to get you wildly wet. An experience like no other, it can only be described like a cruising spa bath that will make you laugh till you cry. Where else can you cruise along a sandy white beach while being gently pulled by the power of our flag ship Port Venture?!

Summer Boom-Netting is suitable for all ages and all swimming abilities, even those with any type of disability. It is popular with family groups, corporate days out and festive season celebrations. We are confident the enjoyment and adrenaline rush of boom netting will have you coming back for more!

You’ll be cruising on the Port Venture which has been specifically designed to suit people of all ages and mobility needs, including step-free access inside, accessible amenities on board and a wide, level access ramp for boarding.

Whale Watching at Jervis Bay Wild is to our knowledge the only place in Australia where you can experience whale watching easily if you have problems with mobility (but if you know any others, please do tell us). You will not have to stay on the shore, waving goodbye to everyone else going off to enjoy themselves. You can join in.

The migration comes to an end in mid-November. Until it resumes in mid May next year, our accessible vessel, the Port Venture is dedicated exclusively to dolphin cruises. These take approximately 90 minutes.

Yes, but access is limited to the bottom level. The boat Port Venture includes accessible toilets, and a wide and gentle accessible boarding ramp.

On the ship, there is step-free access to the bow of the ship but it is a little steep. A ramp also leads to the back of the boat.

An accessible toilet is on board – it’s bigger than the other boat bathrooms but smaller than most standard accessible bathrooms.

There is also an accessible toilet available in the Portside café.

The ability to use Port Venture safely is dependent on the level of the tide, so ensure that you contact Jervis Bay Wild (02) 4441 7002 and let them know about your accessibility requirement before arriving. We also recommend that you contact them to ensure that facilities will meet your specific needs.

All cruises run from Monday to Sunday, including public holidays. Departing twice daily at 10:30am and 1pm, you should be ready to go at the cruise terminal approximately 15 minutes before your tour is set to leave. Please collect your Boarding Pass 30 minutes prior to departure from the Service Desk inside the cruise terminal Portside Cafe.

Whale Watching cruises run between mid-May and mid-November.  Dolphin Cruises run all year and the Boom-Netting add-on is only available in the summer months.

When is the best time of year for whale watching?

Whale Watching occurs during the months of May through November, the cooler months in southeast Australia’s climate. During this period, Whales may be spotted at any time, but their migration patterns fluctuate naturally. Typically, October and November is prime time for a Whale cruise, as mother humpbacks nurse their young Whales in the waters of Honeymoon Bay.

What should i expect to see on my whale watching trip?

It takes approximately 3 1/2 hours, including walks totalling 3 km (with two of the longer walks being around 1.2 km each).

The tour purposely avoids all steep hills and difficult terrain. It is held predominantly on flat and smooth pathways. A public lift can be taken to avoid the steepest part of the route.There are accessible toilets en route (both public ones and those owned by specific venues). All eateries are at least partially accessible. This tour is suitable for wheelchair users.  

Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available at all the establishments we visit.

 The Scuba Gym Australia is passionate about bringing the joy and proven healing power of scuba to people with disabilities. We change the lives of people with PTSD, autism, paraplegia, quadriplegia, traumatic brain injury and other disabilities. We give disabled divers access to a physical activity that brings them joy, freedom from pain, and something they can enjoy with friends and family.

Scuba diving courses for people with disabilities, where we train you and your buddy to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable scuba diving experience and you go on to explore the oceans with your dive buddy. We believe that “together we are stronger”, and therefore we surround disabled divers with a team or support system. 

Scuba diving provides a unique environment with many therapeutic effects that can’t be replicated on land. If I can breathe underwater, what else is possible? This is huge for all divers and especially those with the will to do more than ever.

Our Scuba Therapy is for all people with disability and includes working on strengthening muscles, building coordination and stimulating the nervous system, in conjunction with a therapist and support divers. We will improve your stamina and lung function, which boosts your lymphatic system. We put you in our weightless environment using our world class scuba equipment, and we do specific exercises for your diagnosis.

Our divers also tell us the mental benefits of scuba, the silent world gives them a chance to focus and just breathe. The weightlessness of being underwater can relieve physical pain. There is ample worldwide research backing the mental benefits scuba diving can bring.

We have seen autistic children concentrate, focus, gain confidence, do things their parents thought they would never do. We have experienced a child with Spina Bifida being able to stretch out, use muscles he is usually unable to use, and enjoy freedom from his wheelchair.
