Collaroy Beach is in northern Sydney just beyond Manly. Well worth a visit for the many accessible facilities in the one small area. Take a picnic to the accessible picnic settings, go for a swim using the submersible beach wheelchair, or ramped access points into the tidal pool. The new all-abilities enclosed playground featuring a Liberty swing, accessible carousel, spinner, rocker, and 6-seater swing set make this an inclusive place for all ages. There are wide disabled parking bays next to the playground and wheelchair-accessible buses from the city stop on Pittwater Road about 100m away. Fully accessible showers and toilets with a changing table make this an unusually accessible place to come for a day out with the whole family. 

Stella Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria is an Italian restaurant which is accessible to wheelchair users. There is a ramp allowing wheelchair access to the entrance and indoor dining area, which is step-free. Outside, there is a takeaway kiosk serving coffee and snacks, with more accessible seating available. Space for wheelchair users is restricted but allocating the tables is no problem. 
An accessible toilet is provided by the venue but there are no designated parking spots nearby.

Stella Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria

Chooks on the Beach is an accessible takeaway food outlet on Pittwater Road in Collaroy. There is step-free access into and throughout the venue which has a limited amount of seating inside. Outside tables are available as well. There are no accessible toilets or parking on site.

Long Reef Golf Club is only the second 100% disabled-friendly golf course in Australia, with a brand new Paragolfer (a revolutionary all-terrain mobility device which allows an individual to maneuver into a standing position to replicate a full golfing experience) available to hire. The Paragolfer is available for use on the practice facility most of the week and on the course subject to bookings.
The Club itself is also accessible to wheelchair users and provides step-free access inside the club house. There is a gentle ramp from the car park, which has designated accessible spaces, up to the main reception. An accessible toilet is available on site.

Long Reef Golf Club

Located on the corner of Pittwater Road and Collaroy Street, Collaroy Bake House is a small accessible takeaway sandwich shop. There is step-free access into the shop, which houses a limited amount of seating inside and out. There are no accessible toilets on site and no designated parking spots nearby.

Taste Espresso, and its neighbouring businesses, are situated in a medium sized modern complex, up a flight of stairs, directly off the roadside pavement. It is accessed by a platform lift at pavement level, which all the businesses share. The key to operate the lift is held by the cafe and the restaurant next door. There are outside tables on the front terrace of the cafe underneath a well sheltered overhang. All the businesses share an accessible toilet.

Taste Espresso Collaroy

Collaroy Beach is a surf beach that adjoins Narrabeen Beach forming a long stretch of coast. The ocean rock pool at the southern end of the beach has ramp access into the pool. A beach wheelchair & submersible wheelchair for hire from the Lifeguards who are on duty from 9 am till 5 pm between October and April, and until 6 pm between December and February. You can find them at the north-east corner of the Collaroy Surf Club building. Call them on 9982 9261. Unisex accessible toilet / baby change room located at the surf club amenities. Additional MLAK unisex accessible toilet and change room with an adult size change table and a ceiling hoist available at the beach side of the surf club (near the Swim Club). There are 2 mobility parking spaces are located at the southern end of the car park. Extra mobility parking spaces are located near the playground, entry from Birdwood Avenue (one-way driveway). There is an inclusive playground located at the southern end of the reserve which includes Liberty Swing for wheelchair users (use an MLAK key), an accessible carousel, spinner, 6-seater rocker, dome climbing net structure, interconnected timber decks, slides, sensory elements - carved sandstone structures and musical elements & interactive water play. Your own MLAK key can open the Liberty Swing and the accessible toilet at any time, or you can borrow one from the lifeguard.

The Collaroy is a bar and restaurant located just a stone’s throw away from Collaroy beach. The Pittwater Road entry offers step-free access into the venue, which has a lift to help wheelchair users access the first floor. Outside tables are also available. There is generously spaced accessible seating throughout, as well as an accessible unisex toilet.

Fishermans Beach is located between Collaroy point and the northern base of Long Reef Point. The 500 m long beach begins amongst the rocks on the south side of Collaroy rock pool, and curves round to face north against the rocks and wide rock platform of Long Reef. It is an accessible beach in Collaroy. There is step-free access onto the sand via a ramp in the middle of the beach. As the ramp is meant for launching boats from, it is not specifically designed for wheelchair access and will need to be negotiated with care. The sand itself is mainly crumbly and the beach is of a medium gradient. There are accessible toilets, showers and changing rooms located at the southern end of the beach. A cafe / kiosk, pay and display parking and picnic tables are available at the beach.

Bellagio By The Sea is inaccessible to wheelchair users. The hotel has no rooms suitable for wheelchair access and not all areas of the hotel can be accessed step-free.
